PCEC HEARS FRONT LINERS AND CALL FOR CANCELLATION OF SERVICES

We hear the cry of our medical frontliners for a “time-out” in order to “recalibrate the government’s COVID-19 strategies”. In the face of growing cases in the country, PCEC calls member churches to cancel worship services especially in the high risk areas and continue with online ministries for the whole month of August.

Our government, with its minimal human, infrastructural, and financial resources, is already hard-pressed in preventing the further spread of COVID-19.

The church must participate in this noble effort. Let us continue to practice the preventive measures against COVID such as regularly washing hands with soap and water, disinfecting hands with alcohol, and social distancing.

Above all, let us all pray for God’s intervention for the healing of our land and the whole world suffering because of the pandemic.
